fish dish

this dish is designed to give the feastful dish Fruits du mer (fruits of the sea) the presentation that it deserves. 
We seem to make a habit of it, but with this dish again, the skills of craftsmen have been put to the test.

The handmade bowl is double walled and has an ingenious cavity at the bottom, so the base fits in the dish. It is made double walled so the ice that is used to present the fish on, will last longer. Though the dish is large (approx. 55 cm diameter) it is still easy to lift because of it being hollow.

The dish is placed on a lean stand, so it doesn't have to cover the entire table. When twisting the two plates of the stand in opposite direction, the sticks will fall into place, resulting in a lean, refined, yet steady base.
