Tjeerd Veenhoven

Tjeerd thinks experimenting and the amount of design options resulting from that are most important in the designing process. Every product has an unlimited start and will after that be shaped into a functional design. Unusual material choices and production techniques bring an eclectic line of products, each one with it’s own style and function.

Tjeerd Veenhoven graduated from the Higher School of arts in Arnhem, followed by the Minerva Academy in Groningen. Frequently, Tjeerd presents an innovative product on international events such as the Milan Salone. His works are loved by both national and international press and can often be found in up market magazines.

The starting point from the Camp Fire Grill was a steal grill to put on a camp fire but in the mean time this product is being investigated with a technology that has only been used in the aerospace industry so far.
